These are the donor models I am working with. A Brentoy tanker, an International cab and Chasis and a Micro Models Ford V8 rear tray. The aim is to produce two vehicles by adding the tank portion of the Brentoy tanker to the rear of the International truck. Then the cab of the Brentoy tanker will be mated to the tray top from an International Ford V8.

The tanker was cut at the joint between the cab and the tank portion. A piece of aluminium was attached to the rear of the cab which had no back as the model is hollow internally. The joins are smoothed off to as far as possible name it look seamless. Note the rear window arrangement looking very authentic.

The Tray top has been attached to a base which will serve to attach the cab to the rear. The base is built internally.

The Brentoy cab mated to the tray top, painted and detailed, ready for wheels.

The Brentoy truck now completed. Looks very believable and could pass as a factory produced model.
