Once again I started with this great casting. I wanted to convert it to what I believe it would look like if VW decided to do a modern version of this extremely popular van. Just fantasy.

After a great deal of effort I was happy with the body completed to how I think it would look in the "today" version.

Tidied up, sanded and primed. Ready for the paint job. I have already decided so all will be revealed soon. Certainly a much more streamlined and modern look but unmistakable.

The model with the body painted in a metallic burnt orange. Ready for assembly with a set of wheels. I am thinking something modern.
